Creating surveys in Komodo is a critical step to beginning your journey to understanding each student's wellbeing status.

Instructions to create and send surveys

Step 1: Access the Survey home dashboard

  • Click 'Survey' on the main navigation bar on the left

Step 2: Start the survey builder process

  • Click the 'New survey' button on the top right. This will open up a menu
  • Click 'Custom survey' from the menu

Step 3: Name your survey

  • In the text input, name your survey
  • Click the 'Next' button on the right of the stepper on the top of the page

Step 4: Add questions to your survey

  • Using the 'Question Library' on the left, add as many questions your survey needs
  • Click the 'Next' button on the right of the stepper to get to the next step

Step 5: Assign a schedule for your group(s) for the survey to be sent

  • Click the 'Assign survey' button
  • Select the cohort you would like to start sending the survey to
  • Select the repeat frequency
  • In 'On the following days' select the days the surveys are to go on 
  • Choose a reminder time
  • Click 'Assign survey' to finish the new assignment for your group
  • Click the 'Next' button on the right of the stepper

Step 6: Save your new survey

  • Click the 'Save and finish' button on the right of the stepper to save your new survey and finish the survey building process
  • Your new survey has now been created and will start sending to the groups you have assigned it to on the day and time you have scheduled it for

Step 7: Where to find your survey

  • You will be directly taken to the survey home, where you will be able to find the survey you have made in the 'All' or 'Created by me' tab. You can also use the search bar to search for the survey you have made
  • You can also see that your new survey is being sent to your groups in the 'Surveys' tab in the 'Home' dashboard under the 'Relevant surveys' tag.
